Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Loid Vrints took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibaud Neesens in the 11th minute of the match. Frank Peletier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Otoniel Mondragon came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Peletier slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Camille Baume was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otoniel Mondragon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Loid Vrints came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Kaysersheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loid Vrints couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid Vrints in the 24th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. France's Camille Baume got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 33 in the game by Camille Baume from a close distance when the talented Otoniel Mondragon managed to make a qualified save. Kaysersheim's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid Vrints in the 37th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loid Vrints in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Peletier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Otoniel Mondragon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Loid Vrints made the kick off in the second half. Loid Vrints could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bjorn Quinet during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. France's Marc-Antoine Bardin was substituted for Alexis Bruneau. The supporters of France booed when Kaysersheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjorn Quinet didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 61st minute of play forced Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loid Vrints sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Remy Dupuy hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kaysersheim's zone, David Barbier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otoniel Mondragon came out of the goal and David Barbier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Otoniel Mondragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Frank Peletier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otoniel Mondragon was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Camille Baume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otoniel Mondragon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Peletier went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Kaysersheim's zone, Frank Peletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otoniel Mondragon came out of the goal and Frank Peletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the France players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
