Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Omar Toledo got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, Spain's Matei Răducu threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adria Bielsa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Dobay in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Carpathians were awarded a corner. Alin Nichitelea went to the cornerflag to take it. Carpathians's Alin Nichitelea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Ascaso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 21 minutes into the match, Stefan Dobay notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Spain's Gabriel Ascaso. Gabriel Ascaso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 minutes of play, Spain's Omar Toledo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Răducu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Leontin Ţurcaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matei Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Omar Toledo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matei Răducu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathians's Stefan Dobay. But to his dismay, Stefan Dobay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Omar Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Răducu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Toledo got free with Matei Răducu in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Omar Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Matei Răducu however easily saved by the left post. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Dobay in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Dobay was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Carpathians's Stefan Dobay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Ascaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Matei Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Aranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Spain's Adria Bielsa got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Spain's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Omar Toledo in the 63rd minute. After taking down the ball on Spain's corner Adria Bielsa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matei Răducu quite easily take care of the ball. Adria Bielsa might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matei Răducu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adria Bielsa ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Stefan Dobay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. Carpathians's Ercan Sabahaddin was substituted for Remus Piacente. After some careless play in the Carpathians defense, Adria Bielsa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Răducu. The Carpathians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Răducu should have stopped the shot. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Gabriel Ascaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Dobay went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. Carpathians's Mădălin Lipan was substituted for Martin Zafiu. 91 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Carles Cherro came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpathians's goalkeeper Matei Răducu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chants of Carpathians echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Spain had held the ball for most of the match.
