Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sulo Montaña started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Zaccheo Andolina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atak Koral hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Buturugã narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, LOI's Atak Koral got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Sigfrido Auletta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Buturugã skillfully saved the ball. George Buturugã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 21st minute. Sulo Montaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sigfrido Auletta's shot from long distance in the 47th minute was not bad at all, but LOI's George Buturugã knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

LOI's Eriberto Segio was substituted for Kaan Öztanır. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. George Buturugã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Montaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Sulo Montaña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Bektaş Veli Ülgü threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 73rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOI's Hüseyin Cahit Gökdoğan was substituted for Habib Durukan. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerimhan Cevher got free with Flavio Vittori in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bektaş Veli Ülgü, made in the 85th minute of the game. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 90th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Adriano Curto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buturugã was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
