Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Victor Santxol made the kick off and thus started the match. Viriato Moura succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. After 7 minutes of play, Surahammar's Victor Santxol made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Santxol's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Surahammar's Victor Santxol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 17th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Carl Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Victor Santxol notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Surahammar's Victor Santxol. But to his dismay, Victor Santxol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Carl Engström in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Victor Santxol notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Engström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Engström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Folke Skröder got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes of play, Portugal's Viriato Moura made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Santxol went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radamel Oakley. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 56th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Carl Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Engström. Carl Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. Surahammar's André Pettersson was substituted for Victor Santxol. Carl Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel Oakley in the 68th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Pettersson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. After some careless play in the Surahammar defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carl Engström. The Surahammar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl Engström should have stopped the shot. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. 80 minutes into the game, Bartolomeu Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-5. Carl Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel Oakley in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Radamel Oakley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-6. Caetano Moreira took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Engström. Carl Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-6. Carl Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portugal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
