FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Zübeyr came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yves Dervaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casper Claes. That made the score 2-1 after 45 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sami Zübeyr made a kick off. Valentin Voicu got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sami Zübeyr. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vladimir Kramnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 58th minute of play. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Yves Dervaux almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Vladimir Kramnik in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Vanderstraetens short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Vladimir Kramnik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladimir Kramnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match Rudolf Dombi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Claes skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th minute, Sami Zübeyr made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 94th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Farese to maneuver through the defense. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Anatoly Karpov replaced Igor Czapski. In the 95th minute, Demetrio Farese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Belgium's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Belgium may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Maci -MM- were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
