Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Máximo Portero made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Máximo Portero came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Guillermo Ubelteso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. Ramon Burni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Lucero in the 29th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 31st minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Máximo Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yves Dervaux hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Burni to make the kick off. Máximo Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Paso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. If Ramon Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Máximo Portero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 74th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Paso FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Cresitobalo. 80 minutes into the match, Paso FC's Teo Cresitobalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Cannavaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 84th minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Máximo Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Paso FC's Damien Law got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Teo Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Belgium could leave the field as winners, despite Paso FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
