Cumali Neşat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Cumali Neşat sent off a good shot on target. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Cumali Neşat scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 2-0. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Cumali Neşat scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Cumali Neşat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 47th minute, Cumali Neşat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cumali Neşat was the one to do the kick off. Cumali Neşat took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 63rd minute Cumali Neşat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Germany booed when A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Cumali Neşat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Chris Mergenthaler helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cumali Neşat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Stasys Priekulis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Linus Schwerner in the 84 minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Stasys Priekulis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The goalkeeper, Bora Hazer, was totally fooled by Germany's Frank Sachs, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 93rd minute, Cumali Neşat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Cezmi Gök was substituted for Cumali Neşat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezmi Gök in the 99th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK had won after a very even match.
