Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th minute of play. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Italy. 18 minutes into the game, Italy's Porziano Marchitelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

LOI made a substitution. Eriberto Segio replaced Kaan Öztanır. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sulo Montaña was the one to do the kick off. LOI's George Buturugã proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save LOI from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sulo Montaña in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 60th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siricio Liotta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Italy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Adriano Curto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but George Buturugã made a huge save. After 89 minutes, Adriano Curto made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. LOI's George Buturugã tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerimhan Cevher in the 93rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Kerimhan Cevher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Italy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
