Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Carlisle Fenwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martyon Diehl made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Martyon Diehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of the match. Gust Ennemans kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boroondara Milan's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyon Diehl came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ned Mills kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Martyon Diehl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 38th minute, Jason Sperling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martyon Diehl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 44th minute of play. Carlisle Fenwick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Boroondara Milan's Martyon Diehl. Martyon Diehl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustaaf Groeneveldt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Martyon Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martyon Diehl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Martyon Diehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 68th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martyon Diehl. Martyon Diehl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Martyon Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 73rd minute of play. Drake Sobczak kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Drake Sobczak. When Lars Meesters came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Meesters couldn't finish the play. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 79th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Boroondara Milan's Martyon Diehl. Martyon Diehl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Martyon Diehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Benny Atkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
