The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the last second Tommy Kahn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dominic Van de Loock in the 3rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Noel Van Deyck charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Sköll F.C.'s zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Zjawin came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Dino Rea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sköll F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Rea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Anders Ahlqvist scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Sköll F.C. booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Van de Loock, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sköll F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anders Ahlqvist in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Sköll F.C.'s Ademar da Costa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Dominic Van de Loock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Van de Loock in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, Sköll F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martinez Margarita to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Zjawin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominic Van de Loock to strike the kick off in the second half. Germany were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Sköll F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. Iwan Zjawin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 57th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Sköll F.C.. Anders Ahlqvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Kahn. 2-1. Sköll F.C.'s Iwan Zjawin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Schwerner in the 96th minute of play. When Anders Ahlqvist came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sköll F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Ahlqvist couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sköll F.C..
