An unexpectedly hard shot by Irwin Hunkeler in the 8th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathaniel Ochsner, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nathaniel Ochsner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Silvio Pfeifer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvio Pfeifer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Nathaniel Ochsner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 30th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Mehri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Pfeifer's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Silvio Pfeifer might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Pfeifer ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. The supporters of B O B I S A booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich Stein didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Germany's Albin Holweck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ralph Sanger. That made the score 3-1 after 55 minutes of play. When Chris Mergenthaler came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Mergenthaler couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Ralph Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ralph Sanger made a huge save. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathaniel Ochsner in the 75th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Ochsner in the 75th minute of the match. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ralph Sanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Irwin Hunkeler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Pfeifer in the 89th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. B O B I S A had played much better football throughout.
