Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match, Telmo Teves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fodor Daniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cassiano Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after GD Fiães's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Mateus Valadares thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Cassiano Mendonça, a very annoying self made goal in the 11th minute which led to 0-1. In the 13th match minute, GD Fiães was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Campelo to maneuver through the defense. Cassiano Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo Teves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. A collision led to GD Fiães getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rubim Falcão hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GD Fiães's goalkeeper Cassiano Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cassiano Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Telmo Teves went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Câmara in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Telmo Teves who took care of the corner kick. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Câmara went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Rubim Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Câmara came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vörös Henrik fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Vörös Henrik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GD Fiães booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute GD Fiães were awarded a corner. Telmo Teves went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led GD Fiães's Amável Quental to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Brites came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Katona Janos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adão Anjos in the 93rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Telmo Teves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Telmo Teves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. GD Fiães were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
