Yunus Civan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Santiago Sartori kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Yunus Civan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 20th minute of the match. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataman Kutun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Omar Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Yunus Civan. Trabzonspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Yunus Civan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yunus Civan. Trabzonspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 62nd minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus Civan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Toledo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yunus Civan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 minutes, Omar Toledo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Trabzonspor's Yunus Civan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Trabzonspor's Kerem Erek was substituted for Alejo Otsando. Kerem Erek struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gabriel Ascaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor's Yılmaz Avcu was substituted for Lucio Claus. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerem Erek got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Trabzonspor's zone, David Aranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus Civan came out of the goal and David Aranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. In the 91st minute, Pau Herrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 95th minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Yunus Civan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Spain were the better team. Spain's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
