The supporters of Germany booed when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Laureano Guipuzkoa got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The wind increased when Roman Kon made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Edgar Scislowicz. But to his dismay, Edgar Scislowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. Wincent Polkoski replaced Damazy Turok. 76 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio Ramos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Roman Kon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Kajetan Duszenski was substituted for Ömür Seyfeddin. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Edgar Scislowicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgar Scislowicz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Zagłębie Dąbrowskie left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Germany.
