Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liviu Zubaşcu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionică Mihaiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Aristide Crivac made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Costică Glăvan however managed to control. After a rather tough play, bullfinches's Narcis Banica got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Costică Glăvan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Costică Glăvan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. bullfinches's Liviu Zubaşcu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bjarne Kirkegaard during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. Liviu Zubaşcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Liviu Zubaşcu charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liviu Zubaşcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Liviu Zubaşcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After a rather tough play, bullfinches's Eusebiu Surdilă got a free kick in the 51st minute. Chris Nygaard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionică Mihaiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 61st minute of play. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Costică Glăvan sent off a good shot on target. Aristide Crivac made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, bullfinches's Keld Paulsen threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudiu Stelian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mikkel Wulff fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Mikkel Wulff a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a free kick in the 78th minute. The Denmark manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing bullfinches to win.
