Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Záhorský in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of FC Melon booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Rezek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gregor Opatovský managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Melon's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregor Opatovský was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, David Rusil notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Melon's Ivan Jurčina. FC Melon's supporters rose to their feet, but Stano Nový was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Vavrinec Holub successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 76th minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ivan Jurčina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alan Rezek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czech Republic's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Rezek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ondrej Popluhár helped the player get up and apologised. FC Melon played a much better game than Czech Republic and deserved their victory. The Czech Republic players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
