Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cherry Evans started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's goalie prevented a goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Krumbein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Birk Bodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of play forced Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's goalkeeper Birk Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Olaf Krumbein got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 26th minute of the match, Aldo Bauzá tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's Birk Bodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 28th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Krumbein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Birk Bodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. After 47 played minutes Weiß-Rot Frankfurt got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Groppe. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birk Bodin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Bauzá, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Birk Bodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 61st minute of play forced Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's goalkeeper Birk Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birk Bodin having to interfere. Weiß-Rot Frankfurt were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pacho Raya took the corner. After taking down the ball on Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's corner Pacho Raya fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Cherry Evans came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Krumbein in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Weiß-Rot Frankfurt made a substitution. Albert Kreiser replaced Thomas Groppe. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Birk Bodin. That made the score 1-2 in the 85 minute of play. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birk Bodin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Netherlands played a much better game than Weiß-Rot Frankfurt and deserved their victory. The Weiß-Rot Frankfurt players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
