Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lukasz Wielopolski, made in the 7th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Cherry Evans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's Birk Bodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Weiß-Rot Frankfurt from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Birk Bodin in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camille Baume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Birk Bodin made a huge save. In the 25th minute Olaf Krumbein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxence Durand charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxence Durand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Maxence Durand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Cherry Evans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Krumbein came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olaf Krumbein in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Krumbein in the 33rd minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Krumbein came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cherry Evans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lukasz Wielopolski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cherry Evans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Cherry Evans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cherry Evans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Henry Robiquet hit a great ball. Pacho Raya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Barbier to maneuver through the defense. France's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Olaf Krumbein scored to the left of an out of position Maxime Durand, making the score, 0-1. In the 67th minute of the match, Cherry Evans got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maxime Durand was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's Birk Bodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birk Bodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Weiß-Rot Frankfurt booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remy Dupuy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cherry Evans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Cherry Evans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cherry Evans fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's protests and gave Cherry Evans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Weiß-Rot Frankfurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cherry Evans to maneuver through the defense. Weiß-Rot Frankfurt made a substitution. Albert Kreiser replaced Thomas Groppe. After a rather tough play, Weiß-Rot Frankfurt's Cherry Evans got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The Weiß-Rot Frankfurt supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Weiß-Rot Frankfurt would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
