Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michael Stor started the match with the kick off. Kees Mooiweer got a throw-in 5 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lars Meesters. 9 minutes into the match, Rörvik BK's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Hurşit Üke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hurşit Üke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 10th minute of play. Hurşit Üke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Stor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rörvik BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Hurşit Üke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Michael Stor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-0. In the 31st minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hurşit Üke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rörvik BK's Hurşit Üke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Hurşit Üke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hurşit Üke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Rörvik BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Säf to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hurşit Üke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Hurşit Üke in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egbert Nijveldt got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. In the 67th minute Michael Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rörvik BK were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stan Craft took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Örjan Hjortberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hurşit Üke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rörvik BK's Orvar Hafström got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Michael Stor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Michael Stor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Hurşit Üke made a huge save. With a little luck, Rörvik BK's Hurşit Üke got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute Michael Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Daim in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Rörvik BK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Stan Craft hit a great ball. Hurşit Üke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hurşit Üke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Igor Daim hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
