The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Borys Poreda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Poreda. Victoria Toruń's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Benedykt Kluska, made in the 20th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, Benedykt Kluska threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Porziano Marchitelli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 26 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Borys Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedykt Kluska made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Borys Poreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 32nd minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Poreda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Benedykt Kluska mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria Toruń and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedykt Kluska kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda. Borys Poreda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. After 57 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Cutri. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhu Yan Quan in the 81st minute of the match. Benedykt Kluska made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and D.J. 武磊 immediately put the ball in play. In the 86th of the match, Adriano Curto tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Borys Poreda got in the way and made a wonderful save. Italy were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Victoria Toruń's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. Piotr Dziedelonis tried in the game's 88th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Borys Poreda. An annoying self made goal, 1-3. Zena Busacca hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Victoria Toruń's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Siricio Liotta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Siricio Liotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda did a great save. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
