Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Gummeson having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gummeson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. 18 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Lundqvist came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boros Benedek hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Sven-Olof Gummeson in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Olof Gummeson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Sven-Olof Gummeson in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Lundqvist in the 39th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aaron Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Mantorp were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Lundqvist was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Lundqvist. 55 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Lundqvist. When Billy Fågel fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mantorp's protests and gave Billy Fågel a yellow card for diving instead. Mantorp made a substitution. Bernt Kihlberg replaced Aaron Lundqvist. After 71 played minutes Mantorp got a freekick which was hit by Billy Fågel. In the 74th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 80th minute of play forced Mantorp's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. Billy Fågel hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Although Hungary had been in control for most of the match, Mantorp still came away with the win.
