Bartlomiej Adamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KS Piast Cieszyn's Óli Turek got a free kick in the 19th minute. Boguslaw Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ergincan Genişyürek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Wilson Amorim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vittorio Sgarbi made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Boguslaw Kaczanek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. 32 minutes into the match, KS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Boguslaw Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Budrewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Budrewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Daniel Pimentel. After 44 played minutes KS Piast Cieszyn got a freekick which was hit by Artur Budrewicz.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to KS Piast Cieszyn getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Óli Turek hit a great ball. KS Piast Cieszyn's Boguslaw Kaczanek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save KS Piast Cieszyn from getting a goal against them. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. 73 minutes into the match, KS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Felipinho Amorim came free, but Boguslaw Kaczanek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 77th minute of play forced KS Piast Cieszyn's goalkeeper Boguslaw Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after KS Piast Cieszyn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Viriato Moura took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boguslaw Kaczanek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Gierasik in the 83rd minute of the match. KS Piast Cieszyn's Boguslaw Kaczanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 85th minute of play. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viriato Moura in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Felipinho Amorim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. KS Piast Cieszyn's Boguslaw Kaczanek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save KS Piast Cieszyn from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that KS Piast Cieszyn were the better team. KS Piast Cieszyn's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
