An unexpectedly hard shot by Brage Endresen in the 13th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Jonathan Løvland sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Bakarvågen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
