An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Michalski in the 15th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's Ovidio Jon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yupandú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Michalski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Delmiro Frutos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Astor Efren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Cordaryal came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Eneas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Michalski in the 39th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Efren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 40th minute. The Yupandú FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Delmiro Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gwidon Michalski was the one to do the kick off. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrich Stein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Efren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Michalski in the 65th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Yupandú FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yupandú FC the free kick. Yupandú FC's Eloy Betadur couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Germany. The supporters of Germany booed when Yupandú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Cordaryal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. If Nemesio Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Emesto in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nemesio Cordaryal hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Delmiro Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Astor Efren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Emesto in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Yupandú FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Yupandú FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Germany throughout the match.
