Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torbjörn Brummer started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Pelle Smedfeldt. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Asserlindh in the 11th minute of play. StraX Xenon FC's Mattias Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Palmkvist came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Brummer in the 19th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Torbjörn Brummer sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. Tomas Asserlindh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Jakob Palmkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Mattias Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakob Palmkvist went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Olofsson. StraX Xenon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Brummer in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mattias Olofsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. StraX Xenon FC's Otto Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Asserlindh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 62nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of StraX Xenon FC's goalie and right to Wim Wilmes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. StraX Xenon FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mattias Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Mattias Olofsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Mattias Olofsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jakob Palmkvist hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mattias Olofsson. Mattias Olofsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute of the match, Wim Wilmes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mattias Olofsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mattias Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by StraX Xenon FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Frykberg. After 96 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Johnsson. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
