Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 7 minutes, Gerardo Abeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamaicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Abeitia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. If Graciano Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match, Gerardo Abeitia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Llorian in the 19th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Abeitia in the 26th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Llorian got free with Wilson Amorim in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Baldomiro Hitzeder in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Cefero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Leonel Cefero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Joaquín García made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chamaicó fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Portugal's Felipe Barreto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leonel Cefero. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Viriato Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Leonel Cefero made a huge save. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Abeitia went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Abeitia went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Moreira during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Gerardo Abeitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Daniel Pimentel fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Daniel Pimentel a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's Gerardo Abeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Baldomiro Hitzeder in the 98th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. Chamaicó's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
