Aiakos Vardakas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andrzej Gorgoń had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes of play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gottfrid Hedström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Gottfrid Hedström made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Andrzej Gorgoń had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrzej Gorgoń was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasio Plachetka in the 39th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gottfrid Hedström. Gottfrid Hedström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Plachetka, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. In the 48th minute Stasio Plachetka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Giorgos Neymar. A sloppy throw-in by Slawomir Fujara in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. 83 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Theofilopoulos came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cao Jun Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aias Kreskas in the 92nd minute of the match. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Hedström having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cao Jun Yan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
