Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Figueira in the 14th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Figueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vladimiro Figueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geovanni de Medeiros was slow to take the kick. During this time Orihuela Club de Fútbol's players had a chance to rest. In the 28th minute, David Armada made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Grant Moco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Figueira. In the 38th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Portugal's Viriato Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grant Moco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Vladimiro Figueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
The wind increased when Vladimiro Figueira made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, one of Orihuela Club de Fútbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Orihuela Club de Fútbol. In the 60th minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Grant Moco. Grant Moco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 64th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Grant Moco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Moco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Orihuela Club de Fútbol booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Manzano took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 82 minutes into the game, Godofredo Echavarri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. Godofredo Echavarri kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Fernando Manzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Fernando Manzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Moco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Manzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 96th minute, Fernando Manzano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. Orihuela Club de Fútbol were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portugal for a fine match.
