The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Spyros Serafidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaggelis Georgiadis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxime Durand having to make a save. Vaggelis Georgiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of France booed when GREEN PANTHERS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthimos Giannaridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes, France's Robert Chapuis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fragiskos Saitiotis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in France reached it. A collision led to GREEN PANTHERS FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anthimos Giannaridis hit a great ball. Remy Dupuy kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With his leg Maxime Durand managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when GREEN PANTHERS FC's Vaggelis Georgiadis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vaggelis Georgiadis came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maxime Durand could save by the left post. The supporters of France booed when GREEN PANTHERS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stathis Psaltis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match David Barbier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fragiskos Saitiotis skillfully saved the ball. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Georgiadis in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Spyros Serafidis kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Georgiadis came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remy Dupuy kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, France's Remy Dupuy got a free kick in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Camille Baume took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fragiskos Saitiotis to make any attempt to save it. Vaggelis Georgiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fragiskos Saitiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the France players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
