Ball Hold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graciano Coutinho in the 11th minute of the match. Ball Hold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Machu Picchu's Ball Hold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 17th minute of play. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ball Hold having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ball Hold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Portugal's Bruno Bastos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hayrullah Özgun, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Ball Hold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 24th minute of play. Machu Picchu's Ball Hold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 27th minute of play forced Machu Picchu's goalkeeper Ball Hold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Machu Picchu's Hayrullah Özgun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faustino Almeida, made in the 31st minute of the game. In the 34th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Hold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ball Hold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 38th minute of play. Ball Hold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xorxe Canosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hayrullah Özgun made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Xorxe Canosa however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Machu Picchu's Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Moreira got free with Ball Hold in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ball Hold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Machu Picchu's Grady Beckman was substituted for Ali Cengiz Rüşti. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xorxe Canosa in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 77th minute of play forced Machu Picchu's goalkeeper Ball Hold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Ball Hold threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytuğ Kadirsah in the 78th minute of play. Ball Hold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caetano Moreira in the 79th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ball Hold was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Bastos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Xorxe Canosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machu Picchu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xorxe Canosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Xorxe Canosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Grady Beckman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
