Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Răduț started the match with the kick off. Gheorghe Albescu's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Albescu helped the player get up and apologised. Gheorghe Albescu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Samuele Kunz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silviu Bogătan. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuele Kunz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Samuele Kunz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Bogătan having to interfere. In the 19th minute Alex Răduț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Switzerland's Federico Wiesendanger quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rareș Papadima, made in the 25th minute of the game. If Jacinto Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Ghișe's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Ghișe helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Răduț in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hias Nüssli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Aurel Huștiu fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicorns ™'s protests and gave Aurel Huștiu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Huștiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unicorns ™'s Silviu Bogătan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Unicorns ™ from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuele Kunz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Jacinto Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Bogătan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silviu Bogătan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Maurer in the 57th minute of play. Hias Nüssli was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Alex Răduț capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Răduț really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Niculae Bărbulescu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Alex Răduț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Switzerland fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Răduț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Switzerland were the better team. Switzerland's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
