Fragiskos Saitiotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 39th minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Akis Anastopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GREEN PANTHERS FC and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, GREEN PANTHERS FC's Akis Anastopoulos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Konstantinos Kalekas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

GREEN PANTHERS FC's Fragiskos Saitiotis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save GREEN PANTHERS FC from getting a goal against them. Camille Baume hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Christos Bolirakis in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Henry Robiquet. France were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after GREEN PANTHERS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Barbier took the corner. The supporters of GREEN PANTHERS FC booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remy Dupuy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The GREEN PANTHERS FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when GREEN PANTHERS FC's Marios Mostratos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 92nd minute, Konstantinos Kalekas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marios Mostratos's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The GREEN PANTHERS FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
