The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 31 minutes, Ferruccio Allegretti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sconvols United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Allegretti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sconvols United getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alfredo Di Blasio hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Sconvols United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
