Jens-Ove Lindsten took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jens-Ove Lindsten sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vilgot Hagström was slow to take the kick. During this time Köppens Kamrater's players had a chance to rest. Vilgot Hagström made a great header on Köppens Kamrater's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Erling Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 21st minute of the match. Hermínio Meireles hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Köppens Kamrater's Vilgot Hagström got a free kick in the 61st minute. Frank Sachs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dan Falkrantz. Köppens Kamrater's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Jens-Ove Lindsten sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 67th minute, Köppens Kamrater's Celestino Martinez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Celestino Martinez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Köppens Kamrater protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Celestino Martinez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Germany's Frank Sachs got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dan Falkrantz. Albin Holweck might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Falkrantz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Holweck ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Lindsten's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Jens-Ove Lindsten made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. If Hermínio Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Hagström's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilgot Hagström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Köppens Kamrater's Vilgot Hagström got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Dan Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 97th minute of the match.
