The crowd rose to their feet as Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Paul Hermansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Vittori. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. When Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Paul Hermansson in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aurel Crivoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Radomil Michnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Italy's Adriano Curto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurel Crivoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
