But to his dismay, Gelu Chirilă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 93rd minute, Gelu Chirilă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Gelu Chirilă sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn.
