Kanalie were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tytus Bochinski took the corner. The corner led Kanalie's Tytus Bochinski to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pankracy Bugno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Dobromir Lampa sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With an all-out effort, Kanalie's Fodor Daniel threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Borys Barowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Lampa in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pankracy Bugno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Lampa came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Barowicz in the 78th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Bugno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pankracy Bugno made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Dobromir Lampa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Pankracy Bugno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Kanalie getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Augustin Piț hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Lampa in the 96th minute of play. The Kanalie fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
