An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 2nd minute of play forced Cañani OFF's goalkeeper Romulo Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Rojas in the 5th minute of play. Amado Cordarius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Cañani OFF's Jacinto Rojas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Rojas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jacinto Rojas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Rojas in the 17th minute of the match. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Rojas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jacinto Rojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Jairo Lizbeth reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-1. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Rojas in the 39th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Lizbeth in the 44th minute of play. Jacinto Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Rojas was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Jacinto Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacinto Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
