After having played for 17 minutes, Michal Kiszkiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miedzyrzec Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Kiszkiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabrizio Caroselli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Kiszkiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 21st minute of play forced Miedzyrzec Utd's goalkeeper Rafal Dziura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 48 played minutes, Germany's Frank Sachs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafal Dziura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germany reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michal Kiszkiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miedzyrzec Utd's Rafal Dziura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Kiszkiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Michal Kiszkiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Leszek Radzyminski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Janik Vogt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Michal Kiszkiel sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szczepan Paprotny during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Miedzyrzec Utd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miedzyrzec Utd's Rafal Dziura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Miedzyrzec Utd's Vassilis Katsoulakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-3 after 77 minutes of play. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vassilis Katsoulakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 84 minute of play. A collision led to Miedzyrzec Utd getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fabrizio Caroselli hit a great ball. Fabrizio Caroselli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Miedzyrzec Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Miedzyrzec Utd booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Miedzyrzec Utd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
