After 38 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuel Åström who took care of the corner kick. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as La vecchia signora's Per-Oskar Johansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 0-1 after 62 minutes of play. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominguez Codony in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Eleder came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Dominguez Codony stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Dominguez Codony tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La vecchia signora's goalie prevented a goal. Per-Oskar Johansson's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Oskar Johansson helped the player get up and apologised. The Germany fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La vecchia signora were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
