After 9 minutes of play, 1461 Trabzon's Mateusz Matusiak made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1461 Trabzon's goalkeeper Ender Tanacan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, 1461 Trabzon's Mateusz Matusiak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 24th minute, Mateusz Matusiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porziano Marchitelli hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Sabit Acemoğlu made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1461 Trabzon's goalkeeper Ender Tanacan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ender Tanacan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 43rd minute of the match. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Matusiak in the 45th minute of play. Atilla Ceberut kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Cutri. In the 55th minute, Mateusz Matusiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1461 Trabzon's Ender Tanacan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save 1461 Trabzon from getting a goal against them. In the 69th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Cutri to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes, Sabit Acemoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1461 Trabzon and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 1461 Trabzon's Sabit Acemoğlu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ender Tanacan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Sigfrido Auletta made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that 1461 Trabzon's Ender Tanacan managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, 1461 Trabzon's Ender Tanacan got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line.
