In the 2nd minute, Inge Risk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. 5 minutes into the match, AZAT MARD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Pär Löfdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AZAT MARD FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes of play, AZAT MARD FC's Karl-Erik Hellsing made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as AZAT MARD FC's Jon Waller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 3-0 after 16 minutes of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Olsman in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pär Löfdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Waller got free with Tommy Kahn in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Skochev struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AZAT MARD FC. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Löfdahl having to interfere. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Olsman came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Martin Olsman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pär Löfdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The AZAT MARD FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when AZAT MARD FC's Inge Risk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pär Löfdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Waller during the 58th minute. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 64thth minute of the game Martin Olsman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Hellsing in the 65th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. AZAT MARD FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
