The Leones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin got control of the ball when Issac Dawson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Macdonald got free with Alfonso Villamarin in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Leones FC booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilio Lorca made a kick off. In the 62nd minute Teofilio Lorca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Casado Arambula dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Khalid Kennedy, 1-3. In the 68th minute, Issac Dawson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
