Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dominik Walczak started the match with the kick off. Dominik Walczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Walczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Mikkel Wulff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Zajac read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Gruszowiec got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Resel. After 10 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Walczak in the 13th minute of play. Bernard Zajac came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Lars Steen. But to his dismay, Lars Steen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 20thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gruszowiec's Bernard Zajac was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Gruszowiec getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jurand Majewski hit a great ball. Ignacy Bubczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Gruszowiec's goalkeeper Bernard Zajac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. In the 36th minute, Dominik Walczak made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Jurand Majewski put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Gruszowiec:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Denmark:s goal. After 40 minutes Gruszowiec's goalkeeper Bernard Zajac managed, with a little bit of luck, save Chris Nygaard's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 45th match minute, Gruszowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Resel to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Keld Paulsen was a little too slow when Zachary Zawadzki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Bernard Zajac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacy Bubczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. Eugeniusz Komanski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacy Bubczyk. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Zajac having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Cyryl Dziura in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Theis Winther. In the 83rd minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Zajac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernard Zajac. Gruszowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
