When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Roderick van Boxel came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Roderick van Boxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Takacs Tibor might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Pernambucano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Takacs Tibor ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a free kick in the 67th minute. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Artur Pernambucano could save by the left post. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Breguete FC's Artur Pernambucano got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Artur Pernambucano in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Eugênio de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Balazs Lajos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artur Pernambucano. The goal made the score 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugênio de Carvalho in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Katona Janos charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Katona Janos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 91 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Pernambucano having to interfere. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
