Edgar Turak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edgar Turak made a great header on 2kC Poznań's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. With an all-out effort, 2kC Poznań's Fodor Daniel threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucjan Sokol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol. But to his dismay, Lucjan Sokol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in 2kC Poznań's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Rutkowski came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Sokol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janusz Pusiak got free with Fodor Daniel in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bakos Endre made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Balazs Lajos. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after 2kC Poznań's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner led Hungary's Takacs Tibor to fire away a dangerous shot which Tadeusz Rutkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Janusz Pusiak sent off a good shot on target. The 2kC Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Lucjan Sokol really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of 2kC Poznań booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Pusiak in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Janusz Pusiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Merski in the 96th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because 2kC Poznań had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
