The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Oriche Isazi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Auer, 1-0. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcus Rashford in the 7th minute. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Marcus Rashford was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Auer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 9th minute, Oriol Loyola made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Marcus Rashford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Oriol Loyola scored 3-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Christian Wallner fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Christian Wallner a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Christian Wallner hit a great ball. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol Loyola in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Xande Cavani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 24 minutes, Oriche Isazi made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Austria's Fabio Auer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Auer came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Oriche Isazi. But to his dismay, Oriche Isazi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Oriche Isazi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oriche Isazi couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes, Oriche Isazi made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Austria's Fabio Auer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriol Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol Loyola in the 37th minute of play. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oriche Isazi went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Oriol Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Marcus Rashford got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Oriche Isazi came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Oriche Isazi made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oriche Isazi in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. In the 56th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urpo Kanerva to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to VERDOLAGA CITY FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Urpo Kanerva hit a great ball. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriche Isazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Oriche Isazi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Marvin Harrer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 78 minutes of play, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Oriche Isazi made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Oriche Isazi made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. In the 84th minute, Oriche Isazi made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriche Isazi in the 88th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Christian Wallner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriche Isazi in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Maier. After having played for 91 minutes, Xande Cavani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xande Cavani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xande Cavani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes of play, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the VERDOLAGA CITY FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
