The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Haegg got free with Wilson Amorim in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Xie Bang Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Benjy Muller to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 52nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Xie Bang Ang successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
