With a little luck, Kliczek&Syn's Iwan Nakoneczny got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Sachs could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Iwan Nakoneczny however easily saved by the left post. In the 35th minute, Kajetan Gregorczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Nakoneczny having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kliczek&Syn's goalkeeper Iwan Nakoneczny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zachariasz Bartochowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Kliczek&Syn's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Radomir Podolski drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Germany's goalkeeper. 46 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kliczek&Syn the free kick. In the 46th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Kliczek&Syn booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Igor Furgal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kliczek&Syn's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
