Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ovidiu Spirea took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got free with Marcellus Baumann in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Sune Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fred Ekman scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Wim Wilmes took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Marcellus Baumann to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcellus Baumann. The goal made the score 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Sjöberg in the 26th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 27th minute of play. Marcellus Baumann made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 35th minute of play forced Halkus Valkus BK's goalkeeper Marcellus Baumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcellus Baumann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Ekman came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Ekman in the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann got control of the ball when David Eikelkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Ekman in the 42nd minute of play. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marcellus Baumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellus Baumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Halkus Valkus BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Baumann having to interfere. Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 64th minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Tantholt came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Halkus Valkus BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcellus Baumann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 81st minute of play forced Halkus Valkus BK's goalkeeper Marcellus Baumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Halkus Valkus BK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Sundström. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcellus Baumann was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcellus Baumann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Ekman. In the 92ndth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcellus Baumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
